A pioneer of kadongo kamu and the most skilful musician the form produced. Walumbe Zaaya is among the best-known Ugandan songs ever recorded.

Born in July 1970, Paulo Kafeero was a Ugandan Afro-folk singer and one of the pioneers of kadongo kamu β€” one guitar, one voice, long narrative songs.

He is revered as one of the most skilful kadongo kamu musicians there has been, and his Walumbe Zaaya is one of the most popular Ugandan songs ever recorded. He died in May 2007.
